Students at Elite Self Defense Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin had the opportunity last Friday to spend some time with the Grand Master of Inayan Eskrima, Jason Inay at a special seiminar.  The Inyan system of Eskrima is a form of martial arts combat founded by Janson’s father Mike Inay and is based on traditional martial arts from the Philippines.  

Michael Inay who passed away in 2000, studied under two Eskrima masters, Max Sarmiento and Angel Cabales.  Later he went on to co-found the West Coast Eskrima Society in 1979 and began working with and training within law enforcement organizations while at the same time developing the Inayan System of Eskrima.  When Michael passed away, his son Jason became grand master. Jason has taught the Inyan system of Inayan Eskrima around the world including here in the US, France, Spain and elsewhere. For students interested in the martial arts in our area, spending time with Jason right here in Baraboo was quite a privilege.
