“The restoration of the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel was one of the most significant art restorations of the 20th century.” according to Wikipedia.  The restoration of the murals at Baraboo Candy Company’s shop between Baraboo & Wisconsin Dells must run a pretty close second!

In addition to publishing this little journal, we assist a variety of local businesses with their online projects.  Baraboo Candy Company for example. Yesterday when I arrived for a meeting, I saw the two big murals on the front wall of their shop across from Ho-Chunk Casino coming down.  They had been there for years and had certainly been showing their age.  Amazingly by the time the meeting was over, the guys outside had the colorful new versions unrolled and ready to go up.  A couple hours later, and I had these pics in my email.

There’s still a bit of work to do to get the new murals settled in their new home, but if you’re out near Wisconsin Dells this weekend,  why not take a drive over to Baraboo Candy Company and check them out?
