The Friends of Mirror Lake and Mirror Lake State Park invite you to join them for a wonderful winter evening tomorrow night. The event runs from 6pm to 8:3opm. There will be 2 trails lit by torches for you to enjoy. One  for skiers only and the other one for everyone to enjoy. In case you get cold the Friends of Mirror Lake State Park will have 2 roaring bonfires going to warm you up. They will also have brats, hot dogs, hot cocoa and goodies for sale.

Well, that’s the pitch.  At the last Mirror Lake Candlelight event it was below zero and still around 400 people showed up.  It’s going to be nicer this time around.  Now, what I can add  to “the facts” is that the Mirror Lake State Park events are just a great time for everyone, especially families.  Yes, the kids will need to be dressed properly but with a cup of hot chocolate in their hands and a big bonfire they will be in kid heaven.  Besides, with all the hours we spend indoor during the winter months, we need an excuse to get outside!  The Friends of Mirror Lake always make their events something special.  I hope you can attend!
