The Free Auto Ferry in Merrimac, WI that takes travelers on Hwy 113 across Lake Wisconsin from Merrimac to Okee is once again running. I made this discovery while driving through the area this morning.  The free ferry takes about 7 minutes to cross Lake Wisconsin and is a popular tourism attraction in the area. While the main purpose of the ferry is to carry vehicles across the lake, it’s also fun just to walk on board and ride the ferry over and back simply to enjoy the experience.
