Sandhill Crane at Mirror Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin. If you are into wildlife you’re coming to the right place! Just driving through our part of the state opens up opportunities to see cranes and eagles flying over head while deer, turkey, racoons and other animals can be seen in the forests and farm fields along the way.  Baraboo is also home to the International Crane Foundation which is the only place in the world you can see all 15 species of crane in one place.  You can also see some of the worlds largest cats at the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue.  Of course the other side of being an animal lover, is being a pet owner as well.  We’ve also put some information together to help your pet have a great time when you visit.

tiger240The Big Cat Rescue, The International Crane Foundation & The Oschner’s Park Zoo are just some of the main attractions for animal lovers in our area.
