Antiquing
Central Wisconsin is filled with antique dealers and little shops almost around every corner. It’s no surprise that antiquing has become a bit of a tourism attraction of it’s own accord. Driving around the areas small communities, browsing the shops for treasures, and stopping off at a local diner for lunch is not only a great way to spend the day, but a great way to see the “real” Wisconsin as well. Often times antique shops simply don’t have the sort of budgets needed to advertise in all the big tourism guides out there and can be hard to find. Our goal here is to give you a place to start.
*Since many shops are “off the beaten path” so to speak, each shop listed below has been explored by us or someone we know personally and will only be listed if we feel it’s worth the drive. If you would like to recommend a shop or even your shop for listing here just zip us out an email with location and directions to thejournal@skilletcreekmedia.com.
