There are a number of nice small towns and rural villages in our area. Most of the towns we talk about are within a couple minutes to a couple hours drive of our “base camp” here in Baraboo, just 10 minutes south of Wisconsin Dells.  Our goal here is in part simply to assist visitors to our area to find all the little out-of-the-way treasures that are often over-looked in the big travel guides. For us it’s all about our own back yard and we’re still finding little suprises all the time!  We’ve created a separate page for each town with a quick overview and some links to get you started.
